Description
This training course aims to give trainees the basic theory and knowledge for directing and guiding the movement of plant machinery. The standard can apply to any type of mobile plant or equipment, whether used for excavating, extracting, receiving or transporting loads, irrespective of whether it is free steering or in a tracked, railed or guided system. The standard includes elements of planning, communications and use of hand signals to complete the task. Please note: - This does not cover practical assessment and therefore does not demonstrate competence, this is a separate standard. It does not cover lifting and slings, this again is a separate standard.
